About Coordinate Forge

Built by someone
who works in the field.

Coordinate Forge was founded by a Construction Manager with thirteen years of experience in heavy civil infrastructure — water, wastewater, and industrial facilities. The company exists because the tools available to construction professionals have never matched the complexity of the work.

Why This Exists

The gap between the model and the field is a real problem.

After more than a decade working on large-scale water, wastewater, and industrial infrastructure projects, the same friction appeared again and again: field crews spending hours on data preparation that should take minutes. BIM models drifting from site reality with no efficient path to reconciliation. Software built for designers, not for the people building things.

The tools existed — total stations, LiDAR scanners, BIM platforms — but the workflows connecting them were manual, slow, and fragile. Getting a GPS rover CSV into a federated Navisworks model could take two hours. Generating a topographic surface for clash review required licensing software most construction teams don't carry.

Coordinate Forge was founded to close that gap — through field services that deliver BIM-ready data and software tools that eliminate the manual steps in between.

"The friction isn't a technical limitation — it's a workflow problem. Every deliverable we produce is built to move without friction from wherever it's captured to wherever it's needed."

Founder Credentials

Construction Manager

Construction background applied to both field operations and software design.

13 Years — Heavy Civil Infrastructure

Water and wastewater systems, industrial and energy facilities. Extensive experience across design, construction management, and field operations.

FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate

Licensed for commercial UAS operations. All drone services are flown by a certificated pilot.

What We Do

Two ways to reduce friction.

Field services that put BIM-ready data in your hands. Software tools that strip the manual work out of your existing workflows. Both sides of the same problem.

On-Site Services

Field-to-BIM, handled.

We operate the hardware — a DJI Mavic 3E for aerial mapping, a Trimble X7 LiDAR scanner for millimeter-accurate reality capture, and Trimble total station and GNSS equipment for construction layout and stakeout. Every deliverable is formatted for direct import into your BIM environment.

Navisworks Plugins

Software built for builders.

Two purpose-built plugins for Autodesk Navisworks — currently pending App Store approval — designed to eliminate the manual steps between field data and your coordination model. Built by someone who spent years working around the gaps these tools fill.

How We Work

A few things we don't compromise on.

As a one-person operation, every project and every product decision comes from the same place: a clear-eyed understanding of what actually matters on a construction site.

01

Deliverables that drop in without rework.

Every output — orthomosaic, point cloud, stakeout report, plugin-generated NWC — is formatted and structured for direct use. If your team has to convert or reformat it, we haven't done the job.

02

On-Site judgment, not just data collection.

Thirteen years of infrastructure construction managerment informs how we scope work, interpret site conditions, and communicate findings. You're not getting a data capture vendor — you're getting a professional who understands what the data means.

03

Honest scope, direct communication.

We don't take on work outside our scope — construction layout is not licensed land surveying, and we say so plainly. What we do take on, we do thoroughly. Quotes are straightforward and turnaround is fast.

04

Software built from field experience, not assumptions.

Every feature in our Navisworks plugins exists because the workflow gap it closes is real — experienced firsthand, not inferred from a spec sheet. That's the only kind of tool worth building.
